Season sixth:- The season six started on September 23, 2008 and has seen just five episodes in total. From this season, Director Leon Vance becomes a regular character. As in the previous season, Tony, Ziva and McGee were transferred, so Gibbs gets new team members. They are Michelle Lee from Legal, an unknown organization, Daniel Keating from Cybercrime and Brent Langer from the FBI. In the very first episode, Gibbs has to locate the counterspy in his team. Agent McGee helps him out and it’s Michelle Lee. In the end of this episode, McGee and Ziva rejoin Gibbs. In the second episode, DiNozzo is also allowed to return to Washington DC despite the unwillingness of Director Vance.
